LEADING LADIES |

Since launching in August 2011 Leading Ladies has held eight sell-out events with over two hundred guests from more than eighty companies across all sectors in the city making it one of the most popular (and glamorous) networks for professional women. At Leading Ladies we mix business with show business. Guests are encouraged to join us with a colleague or client and make valuable business contacts.

Join us at WAR HORSE
|
|
The next Leading Ladies event takes place at War Horse on Thursday 17 October. We hope you, your colleagues and clients can join us for this magnificent production.
Network reception is from 6pm followed by the show at 7.30pm. Places are limited and can be booked NOW with Rosie on 0121 689 3068 or at rosannamilsom@birminghamhippodrome.com. Tickets cost £80 and include a complimentary glass of wine, canapés, sweet treats, show ticket, parking courtesy of APCOA, guest list and photographs.
As World War 1 begins, Joey, young Albert’s beloved horse, is sold to the Cavalry and shipped to France. He’s soon caught up in enemy fire, and fate takes Joey on an extraordinary odyssey, serving on both sides before finding himself alone in No Man’s Land. But Albert cannot forget Joey and, still not old enough to enlist, he embarks on a treacherous mission to find Joey and bring him home.
Filled with stirring music and some of the most innovative stagecraft of our time, War Horse is a remarkable tale of courage, loyalty and friendship, and an unforgettable theatrical experience. At the heart of the show are life-sized puppets which bring breathing, galloping, charging horses to thrilling life on stage.
Looking forward to seeing you there.

| LEADING LADIES AT HAIRSPRAY! |
|
Our 70 guests from 50 city businesses were more animated than usual at the sight of doughnuts and fudge on offer at the most recent network event at Hairspray, the fabulous musical with the 1960s soundtrack.
And while guests may not have been calorie counting, they deserve a standing ovation for raising nearly £1,000 for the theatre’s first-ever relaxed performance at Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs on 30 January 2014.This special afternoon at this year’s pantomime starring Gok Wan is dedicated to children with autism and learning disabilities. A number of adaptations will be made to the auditorium to cater for the particular needs of the audience and break-out spaces will be stocked with anxiety-reducing resources and toys.
Thank you for your generous support
More doughnuts anyone?!
