Birmingham Hippodrome has been the UK’s most popular theatre for over 100 years. From musicals to ballet, from opera to pantomime, the best shows and companies in the world have always graced our stage. From musical hall to lyric theatre, we’ve thrived by changing with the times.
Now, more than ever, we have new ambitions. We aspire to be more than simply a theatre and to extend our reach well beyond the stage.
Birmingham is enjoying a transformation into a city of truly international standing and those responsible for the city’s development recognise the value of culture in shaping a global city.
As the city prepares for the next twenty years, we have a big vision too. We want to offer much more and our new Prospectus sets out ambitions built on our long history, traditions and values.
