First Night Drinks If you have never been to a First night drinks event before then this is the perfect opportunity to have a fantastic evening at the theatre, see the show and come to the cast’s first night drinks over at the Bar/Restaurant – StageSide on Thorp Street.
Join us for relaxed post-show drinks, a chance to get autographs, photographs and meet members of the cast. These events are free – but you will require a ticket. The numbers for these exclusive first night drinks are very limited and you will require a ticket. A paying bar will be available.

We hope that you have enjoyed the events, and we always aim to put on events to suit all of our Friends. But, if there are any events that you would like to see at the theatre we always welcome comments and ideas.
Friends Theatre Tours
Tickets £3.50 (includes a complimentary soft drink)
Theatre tours require walking up a lot of stairs! If you have any accessibility requirements then please discuss these on the booking line. Children must be supervised at all times. Babies in prams will have to be carried throughout the tours which last approximately 1 hour. These tours book up very fast!

It’s never too early to start planning your visit to Birmingham Hippodrome to see our world-class pantomime. Friends get the unique chance to share a sandwich with the glamorous and fantastic cast of this year’s pantomime – Dick Whittington at our pantomime buffet.
This is an opportunity for photographs, autographs and time to speak to cast members and find out the behind the scenes gossip! Soft/hot drinks are included in the price of the ticket, a paying bar for other drinks will be available.
