A range of supporting events offered throughout the year can enhance your enjoyment and understanding of our shows. Some are open to all such as the pre- and post-performance talks (CLICK HERE to find out more), others are Birmingham Hippodrome Friends events only. Some are free whilst for others we make a small charge. |

| BIRMINGHAM HIPPODROME STAGE APPEAL | ||
|
We closed in the Autumn of 2012 to completely replace our stage. During the closure, our technical teams, plus many other contractors worked around the clock to replace our 30-year old stage with a brand new performance space. They also installed new lighting fittings, refurbished our orchestra pit, laundered the curtains and gave the backstage areas a lick of paint.
On your next visit here, you may notice new and improved areas including widened foyers and new cloakroom and box office facilities. With the support of our audiences, our Friends and Patrons, Businesses, and grant-making Trusts, we have reached our £1 million Stage Appeal target enabling us to secure a stage for the best in the world for generations to come! A huge thank-you to those Friends who have donated. If you have yet to do so, there is still time and it’s very easy online or when booking your tickets.
